# 2.7. BCB Normative Instruction No. 693/2025

Establishes the procedures for submitting to the Central Bank of Brazil information relating to the provision of virtual asset services in the foreign exchange market addressed by BCB Resolution No. 521/2025.

The [Normative Instruction](https://www.bcb.gov.br/estabilidadefinanceira/exibenormativo?tipo=Instrução%20Normativa%20BCB\&numero=693), dated December 19, 2025 (DOU of 22/12/2025), establishes the procedures for the <mark style="background-color:purple;">submission of information</mark> to the Central Bank regarding the provision of virtual asset services in the foreign exchange market, as addressed by the [BCB Resolution No. 521/2025](/en/regulation/2.-central-bank/2.6.-bcb-resolution-no.-521-2025.md).

As worded by BCB Normative Instruction No. 756/2026, the information must be submitted <mark style="background-color:purple;">starting from the base date of November 2026</mark> (Art. 2). The original wording provided for a base date of May 2026.
