# 10. Decree 11,563/2023

Regulates the [Law 14.478/2022](/en/legislation/2.-legal-framework-for-cryptoassets.md) and establishes the <mark style="background-color:purple;">authority of the Central Bank of Brazil</mark> to:

* regulate the provision of virtual asset services;
* authorize and supervise virtual asset service providers.

The authority attributed to the Central Bank does not change the authority of the Securities and Exchange Commission to regulate and supervise the securities market, reinforcing the provision set forth in the sole paragraph of Article 1 of the Cryptoassets Legal Framework.
